New York State COVID-19 Update:

Over the weekend, the number of positive COVID cases has climbed to 312,997 and, while deaths are on theĀ 579 people lost their lives this weekend. Although intubation, ICU admissions, and hospitalization rates continue to decline, Governor Cuomo says that we are still in “uncharted waters” and must learn from the available data to make decisions. As the healthcare system begins to stabilize, Cuomo stresses the importance of learning lessons along the way; especially when there’s the possibility of a second wave or a virus mutation. In Sunday’s press briefing, Governor Cuomo was joined via videocast by Governors from NJ, CT, PA, and DE to announce the Northeast Consortium – which will hopefully position the states for more competitive pricing and reliable access to medical supplies and equipment in the interstate and global market.
