The New York State Legislature concluded passage of budget bills very early (3:30 a.m.) Friday morning. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic ravaging its way through NY, the $177 billion budget included major provisions that expand Paid Sick Leave, improve bail reform and make changes to Medicaid, among other policy changes.
