Despite the deadline for the Budget being March 31, the Legislature has yet to come to a complete agreement on the final budget. Measures including bail reform, healthcare and Medicaid are likely the center of debate. Governor Cuomo stated that he and the Senate and Assembly leaders are in conceptual agreement on the budget – the Leaders are meeting with their conferences today. Senate and Assembly leaders say they expect to pass the remainder of the bills today.
