Hodes & Landy, a well-established and successful MWBE-certified New York State government relations firm, is seeking an experienced and motivated Legislative Analyst to support all facets of client representation and services.

The Legislative Analyst will conduct policy and legislative research and analysis; monitor legislation, legislative session, hearings, webinars, and events; report on media; support client communication, including social media and newsletters, work plans, and special events.

An ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and have a working knowledge of New York’s legislative process, confidently apply critical thinking, and have strong analytical, writing, and communication skills. This position affords exposure to various policy areas, including but not limited to healthcare, tax, environment, and long-term care.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, and at least two years of relevant experience with the NYS Government/Legislature, and a familiarity with trade associations is a plus.
