The spread of COVID-19 continues across New York State, now with cases in 61 out of 62 counties. The pace of testing in New York remains on the rise in response to the growing number of cases. To date, 66,497 people have tested positive for Coronavirus; the death toll reaching 1,218. Hospitalization rates have shown slight improvement, yet 9,517 patients remain hospitalized and 2,512 are being treated in the ICU. 4,204 patients have been discharged.
