New York State COVID-19 Update: June 10, 2020
As of June 10th, New York has nearly 380k positive COVID cases. Governor Cuomo says that the data analysis will shift focus to daily test results – as those results show the direct impact of reopening on the spread of COVID. Once again, Governor Cuomo spoke of his support and willingness to sign police reform legislation that the Senate and Assembly have been passionately passing this week. Among these bills include the repeal of Civil Rights law 50-A, banning chokeholds, and appointing an Attorney General special prosecutor.
